The PLA is short for the Peoples Liberation Army. In case we are referring to the Peoples Liberation army of the People’s Republic of China. The PLA is the combined forces of all land, air and sea forces of the People’s Republic of China. The PLA was established on August 1, 1927.

In Operation Flashpoint 2 the PLA is the main conflicting force in the SP campaign. The PLA is the second side in mutiplayer and has a host of units and gear for players to use.
