Today a community member (Gwarzo) found a nice piece of in-game footage taken from the event that codemasters held in london last friday, this footage is of a spec op’s team performing a specific mission and is very nice to the trained eye. Enjoy!

Tim Brown Interview

Today at: 10:24 AM, Helios decided to post us a very welcoming video to the community. This video is most likely the most liked video to date mainly because it was amoungst one of the most wanted things that the community wanted besides from multiplayer information.

The video featuring key members of the development team, marks the first in a series of developer videos that are going to take you behind the scenes of the development of Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising.

This new video seems to show some nice footage of the game itself and is split between gameplay and cinematics (According to that told to us by helios)  although containing some problems such as the clouds moving too fast the game itself seems to have made a few improvements in the graphical department.

Of which are:

• Grass render distance improved.
• Glow around friendlies and enemies seems to have been removed.

Besides these we are hoping that CM (As shown before) will fix all of the issues present. Below is the video and below that is the thread to talk about the new video and possibly relay any issues regarding it also:

Shortly after the announcement on Operation Flashpoint’s Twitter page, the new screenshots where published.

Helios also made us aware about an upcoming video, Coming at the 3rd of July called “Fear and Anticipation”

Just a few seconds ago Hero PyroMan_Dan found an Inside gaming E3 interview for Operation Flashpoint:DR.

Unfortunately one of the quotes said that they “toned down the realism to make it Fair” but after recent events with Sion’s then I believe this is now changed.

Today has seen a very quiet and mild activity within the OFP: DR Forum Community, Why you ask?

Early this morning a member of the community figaRo, informed us to a possibility along with Helios’s posts last week that there maybe New Previews, Interviews And Videos coming to us shortly.

We can satisfyingly confirm these statements thanks to IGN’s New Video And Interview released moments ago.

The Video boasts all new, never seen in-game explosive material named “Ground Battle”. The Interview featuring Sion Lenton, Codemasters executive producer boasts a good set of Questions and Answers.

Although these new media articles are released to much hype and debate, a unique feature to this video is the possibility of a pushed back release date. At the end of this video a release date of Autumn 2009 is displayed.
