Posted a few hours ago (5am EST). Helios has announced information from Tim Browne (Lead Designer on OFP: DR) regarding a a list of 5 achievement/trophy names that you’ll be able to attain in OFP: DR. They are:

• Unbloodied Hands
• Tide’s Out
• Keep ‘em Rolling
• Shock and Awe
• Low Blow

As these are only the titles to the achievement. A competition has been created around what you need to do for each particular achievement/trophy.

If you have any guess to what the above are, head over to the source link and make a post. First person to guess a any of the titles correctly, gets a custom avatar. Thats makes five that are going out soon, so don’t delay.

Heres some source code to help you make a clean post.

Released at 9pm EST. Take a sneak peek at the arsenal that will be at your disposal in Dragon Rising.

I guess this means a low turnout for the party , I’ll still be there incase Helios brings us goodies. The current noted release date on Game Trailers is September 30, 2009, while the video is OCT 06 we will confirm with Helios tomorrow.

As promised, today we are pleased to announce that Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising will be shipping on October 6th in North America and releasing on October 8th through EPAC territories with a October 9th street date in the UK.

To celebrate the announcement of the release date, we are releasing a new “Armoury” video (which most of you have seen! ) showcasing the devastating effects of the authentic modern weapon systems which gamers can deploy in Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising’s intense battles.

Finally to round things off we have also released a brand new set of screenshots from the PC version, again showing off some of the weaponry you’ll be able to get your hands on in the game.

Helios also made us aware about an upcoming video, Coming at the 3rd of July called “Fear and Anticipation”

Two new in-game video’s have been released, One is from an German Preview, and one has been captured at the E3.

Both video’s came as a bit of a surprise. The First French video shows 5 full minutes of footage. The soldiers also speak with a little accent. In the special build mission, the squad is going to blow up a radar station, on a smaller island near the coast of Skira Island.

Helios also announced the grass detail distance can be changed by the user himself; you can find the announcement here

1:14PM EST Update:
The forums have returned to some. It seems that the message is a country related message on a time delay per user’s location. It’s not effected by PC time, so it’s presumed to use the IP’s host location. Regardless VIA Proxy you can view the forums, however it is not recommended you login via a proxy here.

PS: For those who may be new to IRC; Always Remember to check IRC when ever there is a event of any kind. There will always be people in IRC on events and most likely IRC will be the main area for comments and chat during the event..
