Hello,

I am PhilipLarkin. I was bored so I watched the new trailer over and over, snapped some pics, and put some pointers on. Enjoy!

PL_1

Here, in red, you can see black clouds. These move at a slower pace then the ’sky’ behind it. Notice how well hidden the moon is. The cloud layers cast shadows, it was shown in 2008 @ i34  mechanics of the Ego engine.

PL_2

A rubbish shot, but if you watch the video, it seems like the man driving the truck moves his head slightly, meaning there might not be stiff models in cars, like in Arma II. The yellow arrow just points to a weird shadow.

PL_3

He sees you! Notice, in yellow, the awesome shadow, and another PLA dude. Seems the stealth mechanics of this game work well.

PL_4

When you fire, all the screen blurs, and focuses on the smoke. Admire the awesome blood mist, and the possible sound of the shells hitting the floor.

PL_5

The red outlines the PLA soldier’s gun. It seems to be on the gound, away from his body/hand, leading me to think guns are indepentant, and have physics, unlike some games where they are stuck to people’s fingers.

PL_6

Those yellow things look a bit like bullets, or the start of tracers. I dunno; it seems important =P

PL_7

Showing some of the terrain that the devs keep going on about. Maybe this is the volcano?

PL_8

From this high up, there looks like a drop in detail along the ground, and it just seems like a layer of green. By the tree trunks, it really looks bland.

PL_9

Closer, however, and the detail seems to have returned, the ground/road looking much more real. Notice, in yellow, the nice cockpit.

I am PhilipLarkin. And THIS IS SPARTA!
Goodnight!
